new patterns

i've been inspired. AND i had a small, small lull in homework. AND the weather is crappy and farrrrr too cold for me to even think about going outside.

the project formally known as black eyed susan

above are various logo ideas for a local market with the name 'black eyed susan.' (black eyed susan is the maryland state flower). the market would have local goods and produce. it would be about sustainability and being organic. then there are some possible shirts idea.

this is a group project, so all of this was before we had to change some things, like the name, which now is beehive market. so i will post some things i do for that later on.

left overs

this is just another christmas pattern i thought i would just put up even though it is after christmas

fairy tale patterns

this one is from rumplestiltskin

above is little redcap, or little red ridding hood.

then this one is from repunzel

these are some more patterns i made. the words are from grimm's fairy tales. they came out rather childlike, which is fine.

cards

these are some cards i made out of my patterns for christmas presents.

snowflakes over baltimore

these are the snowflakes i made to decorate our apt for christmas. i made a lot of them (they are addicting to make) and created these chain of snowflakes to hang around our apt with the christmas lights.

forest patterns

these are some forest patterns i made

i love christmas

here are some christmas cards and patterns i made when i was frustrated with doing work and just wanted christmas. the snowflakes are made up of antlers

abode patterns

these are the patterns i made for abode that i printed. i just thought i would add them outside of the illustrations

abode logo work

above is the logo for the abode ipod cases.
and then below you can see the process and other options

abode

these are the abode ipod cases that i made and am selling. i designed all the patterns myself and printed them. here is a description of abode:
"iPods have become very personal. People bring their iPods everywhere they go. The iPods has become a home away form home. With this idea, Abode iPod cases have the qualities of home, so that the iPods as well as their cases can bring a comfort of home anywhere the owner goes. The fabrics and patterns are similar and inspired by the interiors of houses."

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

these are the illustrations i did for abode. i took the patterns i made for the cases and put them into simple interiors or houses, which was the inspiration for them.

collage poster

this is another old poster from sophmore year.

mojave desert

i also embroidered on this as well after it was printed

only the helvetica survives

these are two advertisements and a mailer for the font helvetica i did sophmore year. the idea is survival of the fittest. since helvetica can be found everywhere, the font would survive more than other fonts if fonts were alive. the above are a study or a collection someone would do of helvetica, as they do with shells, bugs, and bones.
